SCREECH!!

"Screech" is the Nats' mascot

Evan and Craig had 3rd row seats behind home plate.  I got to see them on TV every time the camera was on the batter.  Craig called me:  "can you see us waving?"  And about 10 seconds later I did!  (There was a delay on TV.)  I also got to see them pigging out on all the free food that was included in the ticket price.  I saw Evan eating ice cream TWICE.

Awana Scholarship Camp and Hershey Park

Whilst Meghan was baking in the Pennsylvania sun here:
"no I canNOT open my eyes - too sunny!"

The rest of us were chillin' Hershey-Park-boardwalk-style here:
Where are all the people??  We came at 11am on a Monday morning... the PERFECT time to go!  NO CROWDS!  LOVED IT.  As you can tell from my YELLING, population is a big deal to me.

These guys are just happy all the time regardless of the teeming masses of humanity or lack thereof.

A girly-girl always wears her accessories...

This picture was taken at Meghan's field hockey tournament... but the attire is typical of Tressa, no matter where we go!
In case you can't see, Tressa is wearing sunglasses, a headband (Vera Bradley no less), two purses, silly bands, a charm bracelet, a huge jewel ring, a necklace, and a sticker.  What style!!

So many pictures to comb through... (the curse of the digital camera!)  Here is a sampling:

Poor baby doesn't want to leave the pool!  Craig swings him across a fountain in an unsuccessful attempt to make him laugh.

Name that movie... it's this little nodder's favorite

Hey, yo, DJ!
What up?
We've got ourselves a nodder.
(Cue Kenny G song.)

Eleven!

Meme, Pops, and Olivia came down on Sunday to help celebrate Meghan's 11th birthday!

Megs got lots of nice gifts, including these fabulous items from me:

A Hoops & YoYo talking card!

Twins!

Meme and Pops gave Tressa a Bitty Baby this past weekend.  She LOVES it!  She named her doll "Messa".  (She's into rhymes right now.)

Magic Goo

Today I made magic goo for Tressa and Hayden.
(To make, stir together 1 cup of corn starch and 3/4 cup of water in a bowl or tray with edges.)

When you squeeze it, the goo becomes solid and moldable.
When you let it go, the goo becomes liquid.  Magic!
Was it worth the mess?  Well, Tressa said it was the best day of her life.☺

But I think next time we'll do it on the deck!
