Princess Ruthie Simone BabyEars von Yum Yum Fefferhoffen

At Ruthie's birth home on the day we adopted her:  March 26, 2011

Look closely!  Camo-puppy blends with the tile floor.
She needs a neon vest and a jingle bell to keep from getting stepped on.

She looks sweet, but she's actually a TERROR.  The little kids can't sit at the regular table without Ruthie biting their ankles, so they have a safe-haven table set up on the other side of the gate.

 Who--  Me?

Ruthie dressed in Kit Kittredge's doll clothes:
Ahem!  Now who's terrorizing whom?

Gotta go gotta go gotta go right now!

Why? Because I feel so exposed in the bed.  I need to blend or I can't sleep.

Neb-o-saurus ROAR!

My poor baby was hospitalized for labored breathing last Sunday/Monday.  But he got this cool nebulizer mask out of the deal!

Awana Grand Prix

Meghan lining up her frog car which she named "Abigail" in honor of her friend Abigail who came to watch the race.

Evan picking up his car at the finish line.  Evan's car did well in the first few heats, but then the wheels began to wobble in a bad way.  We blame Craig for shoddy workmanship.

Hayden (in the yellow shirt) loved watching the cars come down the track.  He's a car fanatic like his Granddad.

Meghan came in 3rd for speed after Robby and Caleb, her best buddies from age birth thru 4-ish.

Way to go!

Daddy Daughter Valentine Dance

Daddy took Tressa out to dinner -- Noodles & Company.  Then they made a quick stop into Home Depot.  And then on to church for the Daddy-Daughter Dance.  They had a blast!  Tressa got a corsage and they had their picture taken together.  Then they did a couple crafts and had ice cream and punch.  And they danced, danced, danced.  They were inexhaustible!

There's No Business Like Snow Business

Snowman #1.  It's that tiny snow chunk with two twigs for arms, just south of Tressa's right boot.
Snowman #2.  Now we're getting somewhere.
 Snowman #3.  Practice makes perfect!

Family Heirloom

While at my parents house over Christmas, I came across this beautiful quilt.  It was made by my great-grandmother, my dad's dad's mother.  I love the fruit appliques.  It is perfect on Tressa's bed!  (And that "hungry caterpillar" she stole from Hayden is perfect with this quilt!)
